Just got my replacement in. Brand new in the packaging. Last chance before I go off to sell it elsewhere.

 Re: OCZ RAM
Wait, are you saying you had some ram and something happened so it became faulty ram and you sent that ram off to be replaced with new ram and then in the meantime you bought completely different ram to replace your ram that became faulty ram so now you want to offer someone the new ram that replaced the old ram since you bought different ram?

 Re: OCZ RAM
Yes. Long story short, I got sick of OCZ and went to another company. It's good RAM, I'm just done dealing with OCZ. it is 6GB of ddr3 1600 RAM(3x2GB).

 Re: OCZ RAM
well, they know if they want to upgrade it, and they know if they want faster ram. Make sure your motherboard supports it obviously.

So everyone knows enough about their ram to know if they want to upgrade?? I highly disagree. There's tons of people with computers that don't have a clue about them, how they work what makes them run better, faster etc. There are also tons of people that have no idea what a mother board is. So, a little help from you, the seller, would be nice for those kinds of folks. You have to market your product. Don't they teach you that at office depot? (isn't that where you work?) Do you just assume that every person who comes in knows what they want and if they don't ask for it they don't need anything? I hope not. That would be bad for sales.

 Re: OCZ RAM
No, the people that come in office depot scratch their head when I try to market the product and explain it to them. Let's put it this way, a lady came in today and was asking about a laser mouse compared to a ball mouse and she called the portion of the mouse where the thumb goes a "hickey". She also called the scroll wheel, and the thumb buttons, and the shap all Hickeys as well. If they don't know enough about their product to search for the right RAM, then they wouldn't think to look online and they would not bother with something they have no clue with, and if they do bother with it before doing some research or finding the answer, then they will get what's coming to them. So, find the answer, or figure out how to find the answer.
For the record, and RAM company website will tell you. Crucial.com does a damn good job of it.

 Re: OCZ RAM
First of all I was mostly fucking with you so I hope you didn't take that too seriously.
I have no idea if I need to upgrade my ram or not. As far as I know my computer runs great and everything is just fine. But how do I know if it's capable of doing things I'm simply not aware of. My only is point is that if you wanted to sell the ram to someone here, like myself, (sorry though I'm not buying it) then if you said something like "this ram is really good because it will let you do x,y,z then you may get a bit of interest. Or at least you will have a higher chance.
Anyway, a Hickey? Really? lol that's a new one.

 Re: OCZ RAM
Well, If you custom built your computer like me, go to crucial.com and insert your motherboard information and model and it will pop out all combinations of ram that your motherboard suppoirts, how much it can take, and the speed of it as well as whether or not it is ddr, ddr2, or ddr3. If you bought it in a store, simply fill the three drop down boxes again, but this time insert the model of your computer and you will get the results. If you dont know what they mean, give me or valve or someone here the info and we can find out for you. I have it posted on craigslist, but I doubt any dimwitted fuck in Baltimore who calls a case a rectangular box is going to buy it.
